1st Tumblr meet up

Everyday I post snarky musings and faceless pictures that make it easy for me to hide a little. Call it a character, call it a security blanket, but I like the anonymity.

I recently received an Ask from a fellow blogger that asked me to grab a beer and and was made nervous by the opportunity to step out from behind the keyboard. After a little thought, I decided it would be fun.

We hit up the Masa 14 rooftop and grabbed a couple drinks and just talked about DC, small towns, and super heroes. It was a lot of fun and it was so nice to hang out with someone else that understands this wacky world of Tumblr.

I hope that my followers and fellow bloggers have a chance to meet one of those who take the time to read what you write. Obviously, use your head and meet in a public place and have an escape route if need be. :-)

Surprise day off

The sales team at my office really pulled it out yesterday and was able to get us a day off. I’ll probably do some work then take a stroll through the hood. Happy Friday all!

If our sales team hits their monthly goal today, I get tomorrow off. I’m going to be the best little cheerleader ever!
